34th Avenue Open Streets Coalition
New York City’s Open Streets Program transforms streets into public space open to all. At 26 blocks and 1.3 miles long, 34th Avenue is the longest residential Open Streets of New York City.
GOLD STANDARD
Formed organically as a response to Covid 19, we have harnessed the power of open space to build & strengthen our community, one of New York City’s most dense and diverse. Our version is the longest and most active, making it the Gold Standard of NYC’s entire Open Streets Program.
SEVEN-DAYS-A-WEEK PROGRAMMING
The Open Street has become our town square, outdoor community center and micro-mobility corridor rolled into one. These transformations allow for a range of activities that promote economic development, support schools, and provide new ways for our neighbors to enjoy cultural programming and build community.
